Iqra'

"Recite in the name of your Lord who created -,
Created man from a clinging substance.
Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous -,
Who taught by the pen -,
Taught man that which he knew not."

(Surah Al-Alaq: 1-5)

Iqra’, the first revelation came to our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. The verses, commanding us to read (or learn), but not only “blindly” read. One should read with heart, with pure understanding. What’s the point of reading without understanding them? Useless right?

All in all, it's not about how much do you read, but it’s about how much do you understand.
